Summer annuals

Sunday, August 9, 2009

These heat loving annuals are pretty beat up from the Arizona sun.

Although the vinca don't seem to mind much.

This is the only lisianthus flower left. I think it is the best one I've seen all summer.

Where I live it's pretty dry and hot... I love how vincas come back every year ... Have u tried primroses? those reseed as well. they like the shade and yes they will fry in the sun but they always come back

Good morning Chris, your pictures are incredible. They certainly show off the beauty of your flowers. I'm not sure I've ever seen a lisianthus flower, it is gorgeous. Try to stay cool out your way.. hugs ~lynne~
